JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for the overall planning, implementation, execution and completion of projects to ensure successful completion and handling over of projects to end users and/or purchasers, meeting deadline, quality and budget criteria.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- To implement all policies, activities, procedures as relevant and required by the property division.
- To oversee daily operation of the Project site and allocate works and duties for site staff.
- Provide technical support and advice to marketing.
- Coordinate with consultant team in design to obtain approval for layout plans, building plans and CCC (Certificate of Compliance and Completion).
- To plan, manage, monitor and control from pre-development stage to post-development stage to meet the approved quality, cost and time standards.
- To effectively liaise with authorities and contractors.
- To ensure in the implementation of SOP assessment for all projects.
- To assist in liaison with government authorities and consultants.
- To report project progress status during weekly meeting and anytime when require.
- Monitor progress of projects to ensure that they are completed within budgeted cost, time, and adhere to the safety and quality requirement, this includes chairing and/or attending CCM and Technical meeting with consultants and/or contractors or other meetings as and when necessary.
- Check progress payments for consultants and contractors.
- Ensure that construction is carried out according to approved plans and specifications.
- Prepare management reports to show actual vs budgeted progress, time, cost and quality: cash flows projections.
- Attend on timely manner to complaints from purchasers on defects and quality issues after handing over of units during and after defects liability period.
- Coordinate with consultants and contractors to obtain as built plans and owner’s manuals when necessary.
- Perform any other duties as directed by the immediate superior from time to time.
Qualifications, Experience and Skills:
- Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architectural or equivalent;
- At least 8 years working experience;
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills.
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision;
- Able to understand technical and construction drawings.
